About Us

Chabad in the Florida Keys was founded in September 1995 by Rabbi Yaakov and Chanie Zucker.

With hashem's help we purchased our new Chabad JCC at 906 Trinity Drive (we are working on changing the street name) and we moved in baruch hashem for Rosh Hashana September 2008.

our immediate needs are to finish the tile installation $5,000

to put up a gate for the children $3,000

Mitzvah Tank $50,000

and of course our day to day expenses by month: Mortgage $3,000 Electric $800 cleaning and garbage $360 water $100 insurance $500 phone and office $360 Hebrew School $250 newsletter $200 Gardner $100 Rabbi's salary $6,500 

Total $12,170

While we are able to raise about half of that amount in town, we have to fundraise the rest out of town, the economy has been tough for everyone including here in the Keys,anything you can help will surely be appreciated and recognized,and will be added to are blessing list.
